I'm fairly confident the vast majority of GM's in this league would take Barzal, Nelson and Cizikas over Mika, Strome and Chytil.

Pulock and / or Pelach (who is hurt) would instantly be the best defensively responsible blueliner on you team.

If it wasn't for the breadman this conversation wouldn't even be happening. Oh how jealous I am (not sarcasm).. what could have been had he joined the Islanders.

Trotz is a tremendous help there. I question how they'd look in our dumpster fire of a defensive system.

It will be fascinating to see how our young pups respond to the intensity and especially the noise level at the Coliseum which as you know due to how old the arena is and the way the acoustics are set up, it just might be the loudest barn in the league.

Fox,Kakko, Chytil....etc get used to what tonight is going to be like cause this how it’s going to be multiplied by 10 for the next decade as this team makes the natural ascension to a playoff participant hopefully beginning next year...

The Islanders’ best player is Mitch Korn. The one time I was actually worried about that team was 2014-15.

They play safe hockey and are propped up by goaltending. Big deal. Basically those Nashville teams that ground their way to the playoffs and got bounced early every year.
