Well, Gaborik is doing a pretty good job with Columbus now that he doesn't have to play with "jam." Guy has 3 goals 3 assists in 5 games with the CBJ. They got him to play offense and score goals, and guess what, when the coach allows him to play his game, he does.

He could have been a huge asset for us it Tortorella managed him correctly this season.

Spot on Fataldogg. Agreed 100%, if only we had a coach who knew how to utilize player's strengths and not put them on LW or on the third line after scoring 40 goals as the 1st line RW 2 times. Blueshirt Believer said we are the worst coached team in the NHL, I'd definitely be inclined to say bottom 5 for sure.

without staal, our D playing the meh they are right now is average. With staal, everyone plays less minutes, there's better coverage, we push out Eminger, everyone finds flow and doesn't need to be in D zone as much and that's one good D

Islanders are 8-1-1 in their last 10! Hanks playing a great game but both teams have had chances and breakdowns. No ones ever going to play a perfect game. Do people not understand this?

The game is incredibly open, a lot of chances for both teams. Enjoy the game. Its a nail biter, but its been fairly equal (MAYBE give the edge to the fish... maybe).

I think he's played well too. Playing better than the captain... He just looks so passive in the offensive zone.
