Henrik deserves to make it. Not so sure about most of the rest of the team. Especially the defense.

hank will determine torts fate after playoff miss or early exit.

Just take a look at the difference in scoring chances. Islanders blasting away from the slot and the points, while Nash loses the puck, or Callahan shoots from a bad angle. Stepan, Nash, Clowe, Zuccarello are the only ones generating any offense. Brassard needs to simplify his game, he is brutal in our own zone, and almost cost us a goal.

Seriously? We had a few good chances in the first 5-7 minutes, and the final 12+ minutes of the period was all Islanders. We were embarrassed at points. I can't say the Islanders were embarrassed at any point in time.

I think its becoming way too reactionary. This is one of the most entertaining and intense games all season long and people are still unhappy. No pleasing this board.

It's been a great game for sure. Isles are getting the better of the boys in the 2nd half of that period, but I think they've overall been great.

My 1 complaint: Del Zotto is playing one doozy of a stinker.

Well, Gaborik is doing a pretty good job with Columbus now that he doesn't have to play with "jam." Guy has 3 goals 3 assists in 5 games with the CBJ. They got him to play offense and score goals, and guess what, when the coach allows him to play his game, he does.

He could have been a huge asset for us it Tortorella managed him correctly this season.

The Staal factor is very large. His presence is missed hugely.
