Young D-men make mistakes. This team freed from what AV cast upon it could be very exciting. That won’t make it a playoff team. Chytil could still need time in Hartford. I still think Zuccarello is getting dealt. It will take time to adjust to a new coach’s system. I don’t see a quick fix.

The only way I see Chytil playing in Hartford is if the Whalers come back.

I can't tell if Sam and Joe are doing it on purpose or not but they're identifying the wrong player in every sequence. Sproul let's Skinner find a passing lane behind the net which leads to the goal but it's Hayes' fault for not breaking up a high danger play. Then Pionk with a nice move to curve the forechecker and Staal back hands it up the center of the ice and turns it over to a Canes player but it's Pionk that has to recover and Staal is not even mentioned.
