Rangers have lost 6 out of their last 7 games. What would you do if you were Dolan (the owner of the team) or Drury (the GM)?

Laviolette is a good coach. Won a cup with Carolina, cup finals with Philly, cup finals and president's trophy with Nashville, president's trophy with the Rangers just last year.
He used to be a good coach. Coaches can become washed just like players.

Lav used to have fire , now he just sits on his fat ass and looks annoyed at most.

Look at his tenure in Washington, and how they’ve looked since they replaced him with a younger up and coming coach in Carberry

It's nonsense: they offered us junk with the idea they were entitled to Jack and we turned them down and got a far better return from Vegas (the key piece they were dangling was that Russian guy who busted way worse than Krebs. Seriously).
Buchnevich, Strome, Kakko, Lafreniere, Othmann, Schneider, and a 1st were all on the table and at play and would've been more than enough of a package for Jack's neck and miles better than two middling busts and 60 point RW but Adams was being pushed by the Pegulas to hound the Rangers and continue upping the offer, scaring them off, they did not do this with Vegas or any other team interested, just the Rangers. Like I said, heaven forbid you deal a player to the Rangers and it's a fair trade.

GM's are too afraid to deal with NYR because every trade makes the big headlines and to have a trade be perceived as a loss by their own fanbase is a sin to them. The Pegulas are wackos and couldn't stomach the thought of Jack in NY for some unknown deluded reason but if I had to guess it's most likely because of that idiotic podcaster who bought a billboard in BUF.

It's cheap and petty, just like that Ottawa owner having a melty at the Rangers over a literal Hockey rumor-mill article written by Larry f***ing Brooks

kings fan coming in peace.
as i watched last years eastern conference final, i saw zibanejad completely give up on backchecking and playing any kind of defense really. kreider never did. these guys were a power play offensive force but now that their not, the're useless- and after mika had his kid and his prioritys changed he's cooked.
i picked the rangers last year to win the cup-no money bet. so if this sounds like some vitriol towards those two due to money lost it aint. both these guys need to go and if they dont want to go scratch em.
i found it interesting to watch mika start skating in the 3rd period yest against the kings when the game turned into a blowout. kinda sad, in a way.

Right? On top of 2 of your 3 super high-end talents forcing their way to only said team, and major lottery luck (well - at least winning the lotteries!).

Sure other teams are jealous - not because of some amazing thing Rangers did or earned. They got there just by being the main New York team.

I'd call Laff and Kaako busting karma for landing Fox and Panarin the way it happened. And I'd still take it.
Rangers should be punished because a UFA (panarin) chose to sign with them? What utter nonsense.

No. But they’ve had enough instances of fortune (Trouba another) of high profile players only going to New York or forcing their way because it’s New York that other teams fundamentally cannot execute even if they tried.

So rangers fans claiming that other teams are just angry because “we rebuilt so well on the fly” is really missing the tremendous advantage they have in doing so.

THAT is utter nonsense.

Everyone knows the rangers enjoy competitive advantages other teams do not have.

Since mid November they’ve been outscored 47-28 with 1 goal wins over Montreal and Buffalo, and a 2 goal win over Pittsburgh. Those 3 wins were against bottom 10 teams, two are bottom 4. This isn’t a skid. Three wins that were very nearly losses, against bottom feeding teams, in their last 12 games is an implosion. They’re playing the worst, least motivated, least engaged hockey I’ve ever seen from an NHL team in my life. If it were possible to fire players, I would literally let half of them become UFAs tomorrow for no return whatsoever.

The Rangers "rebuild on the fly" unironically worked though and that's what makes fans of rival teams seethe more than anything else, the fact that the Rangers with all all their imperfections, muh "fugazi's", managed to go to the ECF 2 out of the 3 years of contention, 2 wins from the finals, and they broke the hearts of Carolina/Pitt/WSH on the way.

Worth it.
The rebuild on the fly, only became that, via winning lotteries to get 1OA and 2OA.

True. Plus they had a couple D men come their way because both guys insisted on playing there. The Rangers do have an advantage of being the original six team in NYC. You’re right though, they did get super lucky in the draft lottery. Just not too sure those two lottery high picks are difference makers like Fox, Trouba, and Panarin turned out to be.

Good, needs to happen again only this time an actual elite 1C. Devils do it every other year and nobody seems to throw shade at them. Rangers need to rack up what they can and build with all the talented youth they already have it's that simple. Rangers will get back in the top-10 again and people will seethe because they just want the Rangers to fade out for the rest of the decade, won't happen.

I thought that poster was on a Saturday night bender but then he kept posting the same nonsense today
If it was all nonsense you wouldn't be assuming I'm doped out just to justify to yourself how I'm supposedly wrong.
It's really amusing finding the same posters in threads like this about the Rangers trying to give their completely non-biased opinion on what the entire FO should do.
