Yeah.. except they got Gionta for leadership and to score goals... since he's a fairly regular 20ish goal guy.
Not scoring, second worse +/- among forwards, 1:5 takeaway/giveaway ratio.
Yeah, they got him and Gorges. Then they got Moulson. Then they realize their goaltending can't stop pucks, their defense can't keep pucks out of their own end and suddenly 20-goal guys are not sounding too good. Gionta is a 20-goal guy in Jersey or Montreal. In Buffalo? I'll be shocked if more than 1-2 players hits that goal total this year.

He's just not the same guy this year... I don't know why but he doesn't look like the same guy that we saw two years ago and the first part of last year.
He's a little black hole where offense goes to die. It's no coincidence that Pleks is having a great year without him.
Will ever Tva Sports root for the habs? I feel they only care about showing they understand what is going on or talk about quebecers on the opposite team!

Gionta was a 20-goal guy because of his ridiculous time on ice. His production rate was piss poor and he made his linemates worse instead of better.
Neuvirth has a .916 SV%, Enroth has a .914.. what more do you want out of them with that team?
The Sabres are giving up 37 shots per game.
Their goalies are just fine - it's the defense and forwards that are god awful. Gorges and Gionta are a combined -78 Corsi.

Don't know what it is. I'm not a huge fan of him with Emelin but it's more than that.
Started about a third of the way through last season. Just not as dynamic. I don't know if they have a leash on him, if he's changed his style or what... but he's just not the same guy. Early in the season, but I hope we get to see the real PK Subban again soon 'cause I miss that guy.
