I think the Islanders game might go for more because its a weekend. Both will be relatively expensive though, but it will be so worth the experience.

the Isles game is on a Wednesday night. the game vs Jersey is on Sunday afternoon. but i agree that the weekend game might be more/sell out faster

Devil STH just got this email...

"The New Jersey Devils® are excited to experience the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ at Yankee Stadium with you!

As a 2013-14 Devils® Full Season Ticket Holder, you have exclusive access to purchase tickets to this marquee event.

In preparation for your upcoming purchase window, important ticket information is below:
An email will be sent 48 hours prior to the start of your purchase window. This email will include the start date and time.
All purchase windows will begin before August 31st.
Once your window opens up, you will have seven (7) days to purchase tickets.
You can purchase the same number of tickets as you own on your 2013-14 Season Ticket Plan.
Two additional tickets, per account, may be purchased during your window. These additional tickets will be provided to you upon receiving the name and contact information of the person in which you chose to share the tickets. Further instructions will be sent 48 hours before your purchase window.
All tickets must be purchased online.
There are eight (8) price points to choose from.
After your tickets are purchased they will NOT appear in your My Devils Account.
Tickets will not be available to print or forward online, they will be mailed prior to December 31, 2013.
Tickets will be mailed to the address on your Devls account, not the address associated with your credit card.
While this game is considered a Devils home game, the Devils are only allocated a portion of the seats at Yankee Stadium by the NHL and some locations may not be available to purchase.
For those accounts that have paid in full for 2013-14 season ticket packages, you will be credited for 1/44th (one home game), via the payment method you originally purchased your package. Your refund will be processed by the end of next week.

For those accounts that chose the extended payment plan for 2013-14 season ticket packages, your remaining payments will be reduced so that your total payment will only equal 43 home games."

Looks like NYR STH should be getting their's soon as well. 8 price points to choose from and the Devils STH get to purchase what's on their account + 2 extra tickets.

At first glance that seems especially glutinous and ridiculous, but then I realized that the Devils only have 9 season ticket holders rofl

Why are they (the Devils) making it so difficult to sell the tickets? I can give them the benefit of the doubt : maybe its an NHL policy?

I wonder if the Devils have a investigative division to determine if the additional tickets are for Devils fans?

They just want to discourage people from buying just for the sake of selling. Really not all that criminal. Besides, someone who buys can post them on stubhub, even if they do not have them in possession.

How does a business have any say in what I want to do with something they offer for a fixed price? You are selling them. I am buying them. That's as far as our relationship goes.

Seems a little excessive that if I want to buy tickets for $300, I should be able to give them to my non-existent sister, donate them to charity, sell them on stubhub or burn them in protest.

Agreed, but there is also no law that states they must ship immediately.

I bought my sister tickets to a St Louis Cardinals game as a gift. Commissioners Box. They didn't mail them out until a month and a half after I purchased. I emailed to ask why I hadn't received after 2 weeks I was told they are printed on special ticket stock and are printed to order.

Is the consensus amongst season ticket holders that if they do get offered tickets they're going to go to one/both games?

Prices are relatively steep across all levels... I would love the a ticket within the Delta Suite level but anything over $300 face is tough to pay.

going to both.

Do you think we will also get the chance to buy 2 additional seats per account? Or no, since we get two games.

I only have 2 season seats, but was looking to get 4 tickets to each game. I know its a long shot!
