The Rangers looked good early in the series and the PP was working. Philly made an adjustment and we look like a bunch of second graders out there. Every bounce seems to be going Philly's way...

Please, just don't roll over this period. Play tough. We have to do this again tomorrow and don't want to give them the idea that they're going to walk over us then too.

Why do I care about this team to a point where I just can't go to sleep at 3:30 am when they don't care about them themselves. I'm an idiot.

Unless we win a Cup with him, I will forever hate that contract. I just don't understand spending so much on a goalie no matter how good he is in a cap world.

Not that I have any faith in Sather to spend it differently or better.

I personally feel the goaltender position can be very overrated. There are certain plays, certain shots, that no matter how good of a goal tender you are you will give up a goal.

Add into it how mental of a position goal tending is and prone to inconsistency...it'd be better to invest that cap space elsewhere imo.

I've said it's a team loss. Can you not comprehend that or something? How many times do I have to say it's a whole team loss? A million? Or are you just cherry picking stuff for your argument?

Says the guy still ************ and flooding this thread about Lundqvist.

I don't think there's going to be the disadvantage in momentum going into next game that you guys are making it out to be.

There's still a period to play. If this team can't get fired up and pissed off about this game going into 7, then it's sadly probably better for all of us that they bow out early, recognize some degree of need for change, keep that 2nd round pick from becoming a 1st rounder(!) in the St. Louis trade, and see what the team looks like next year.

But maybe, just MAYBE, our boys deliver tomorrow.

Opinions are like *******s. Everyone has one, and they ****ing stink. Most of the posts on here are knee-jerk ******** opinions that make no sense.

You have people posting that Lundqvist isn't a top goalie in the league. You have people saying "I thought the minute they signed that contract that it was bad" well how ****ing convenient of you to share that thought when the entire team quits in front of him in perhaps his worst game ever. What a great ****ing opinion

Agreed. I would've been fine with 7M since it's just a touch over what he was making before. 1.5M is an entire 3rd/4th liners salary. It could just be spent better elsewhere. Completely agreed.

BREAKING NEWS:

"Rick Nash to be recast in the role of Lord Varys from the popular HBO television show, Game of Thrones. The producers felt it was a strong fit as Nash has no balls, and should smoothly transition into the role.

A breakaway cannot be a horrible goal. This is basic hockey knowledge unless the goalie hides behind the net.
