Do you know what this team reminds me of? The 2004-2005 Lockout Rangers. No emotion, no energy, too many stars that don't mesh, big expectations because of the star power etc.

Yes its only 4 games. Not saying the sky is falling or the season is over. Just saying that SO FAR this is what they remind me of.

Why put Gaborik on the point if you aren't going to build the play around his shot? Richards is the only player on this team who understands the importance of hitting a one-timer on the powerplay, and he's supposed to be a set-up man.

Why is it only our 5 on 3 unit that plays so far away from the goal? You see a good 5 on 3 unit and all the attackers are pretty much within the circles.

Hopefully the incoming practice makes them play like they did in the first period of the Broons game. At least for another period.
