Post-Game Talk: Rangers @ Flyers | 3/26/13 | Derek Comcast!

Do you guys think if we sat Pyatt we would miss his size against more physical teams? I would much rather see Powe who brings it on a nightly basis. Gonna be interesting who sits if Zucc and Fast join this team. Has to be Pyatt and/or Boyle. I don't care if they are 6'5" or 6'6" or whatever

Claude Giroux went to town,
ridin' on a cold streak.
stuck a feather in his cap,
and called it SAVE BY LUNDQVIST

Good words from Tortorella tonight. I really don't think he's as bad of a coach as this board thinks.

i disagree with Torts i dont think miller was that good tongiht. But then again like boyle and richards he is one of Torts guys

me either.. i just dont get it.. guy plays hard, plays the game how its suppose to be played and is a keeper on this team.. brings a lot more to the table then people think! on and im sure off the ice..

I hear what you are saying and its very valid. It definitely seems like he brings some intangibles to the team, but the problem is when this team chronically scores 1 goal a game then his lack of scoring ability is magnified. Maybe a fourth line of Asham-Boyle-Powe/Newberry wouldnt be so bad

Torts needs to keep these lines together.

Chemistry doesn't happen magically in one game, it takes time. Stop messing with the lines and keep them the way they are.

I think that Boyle replaces Pyatt on the 4th line and Zucc replaces Boyle on the 3rd line. The only way Fast breaks into this line up is when/if Gaborik is traded, because it would be the softest/smallest line up in the league (probably is already) otherwise.

Definitely good words. The guy cares! BUT If he breaks up that top line he definitely is as bad as the board thinks he and WORST!

^ Miller looked very good tonight idk what you're talking about
i thought he was ok but i just dont like the fact that he turns the puck over so much. Luckily it hasnt bitten us in the ass yet but he needs to clean that up

Totally agree that makes the most sense. I guess we will have to see what personnel we have after the trade deadline. I think Pyatt is the odd man out. Maybe we could get a 6th rounder for him.

So how does Zuke fit in? Assuming he plays on Thursday against Ottawa:

62-21-61
10-47-24
20-19-36
14-22-45

Depth :handclap:

Those lines not bad at all. Maybe Powe for Pyatt on fourth line? Could also switch Gabby and Kreider and reunite that 20-47-24 line we had earlier in the year?

1 good game is not good enough. There are dozens of 4Cs that are outperforming Boyle

oh stopp.. give it up.. you dont need the best at every position to win, just the ones in the right positions and 4c isn't going to make or break you in a game..
