Yup exactly. I think Boyle was literally filling that role tonight until zucc gets here. Once that switch is made I see some lines that could actually stick. We just know that won't happen...

This was a fun game to watch but hopefully also a dam breaker for a couple of players, Richards especially. Rangers are going to need him at his best.

i like the way the roster's shaping-up. just need mcilrath and i think they're set. as long as torts stops with the darth vader act and allows the guys to pla more free and creatively on offense.

Stepan Nash and Hagelin is such a great line, makes no sense that they were broken up in the first place. Richards and Kreider on the 3rd line could solve our depth scoring problems if they plug Zucc or Gabby on the RW on that line instead of Boyle. Not that Boyle played bad, I actually think he played well tonight, but him on the 4th line makes it a line that Torts can trust for more than 3 minutes a night

i think boyle's fine...as a fourth line center and occasionally moving up for defense/relief. 3-4 shifts per period. too much exposure and his weaknesses get exploited.
