Brings some physical play and I feel he can be a pest for the Rangers. Decent size and underrated skill. I may be wrong, isnt he potentially better than average at faceoffs?

There's nothing wrong with having cheap depth. I think Parssinen has more to his game than we've seen and might be a decent player. He didn't get much of a chance to settle in before being demoted to the 4th line and scratched.

I'm actually surprised he had 5 points. felt like he never shot the puck. 5 points in his limited time is not bad at all.

He's a warm body, but for 1.25 you can do a lot worse. Hell, in 2014, we signed Tanner Glass to a 3 yr, 1.45 mil contract. Imagine being paid 200k less than Tanner Glass got, in a year where the cap is 26.5mil higher
