I take back what I said a bit, Nemeth deserves a shot. But from my POV, it does seem like we believe that we are signing a D that is a little better than he actually is. I’ve followed Nemeth on and off since his early junior days. Maybe he has become a more solid D today than I give him credit for. But I am not sold on that he really is worth a fair amount of money over 3 years.

Only big player we lost is Buch, but Kravy will be one year older + there would have been no place for Buch anyway on this roster in the upcoming years.

If we need nothing but fill holes this team is better just because the kids are a year older. Its not an excuse to sign players to bad contracts.

He doesn’t play a deterrent game. Having size doesn’t mean you’re rough and tumble lol. But way to jump to a conclusion about a player you know nothing about lol.

Now you know what I know lol you are hysterical. Its pretty hysterical that you think you know more then the 3 fan bases that watched him night in and night out haha. Ahh so simple.

I truly thought I wore out the ignore feature hours after the Zuccarello trade.

I'm gonna be setting personal records soon. This one's gonna suck because I kinda enjoyed some of these guys before the Buch trade.

You’re the one saying that he was signed because of Tom Wilson lol.

The main boards isn’t exactly a beacon of impartial insight and intelligent conversation. Doesn’t surprise me that you value their opinion.

I think if we look around at the depth there and note what he has done the last couple of years in Sweden, it’s a relatively safe assumption that he is ready. Similar things were said about Fox when he came out at the same age.

3 of the 4 teams that made the conference finals play a pretty heavy game...they're In the top 10 in hits.

Playing a heavy physical game is important.

The rangers are an average team in terms of hits..they need to be more physical.

Tampa was 9th, Montreal first, Islanders 3rd.

There's more to winning than physicality...but make no mistake...it's Important.

Yeah Geo needs to go ASAP. Give me Grubauer and call it a day. I'm even fine keeping Strome as insurance throughout the season because there will be injuries.
 
I swear I read somewhere that he (Geo) was looking for a fresh start, but for the life of me I can't recall the source. Anyone know what i'm talking about or did I dream it or something?
