So torts/av discussion aside, who's more at fault if this team is a failure? Is it more on the coach not being able to find a way to win with the pieces his team has? Or on the gm not getting the right pieces? Is our team really that horribly constructed? I know it's missing some definite pieces, and I don't agree with maybe a third of the players on our squad, but should they be getting blown out like this and San Jose?

Does that mean I don't make the trade? No comment. I honestly am 50/50; some days I like it, some days I regret it. I'm not talking about whether or not the trade was right or not. But those are two players who actually might give this team some life and show some outrage and some anger and passion.

The issue was not identifying and persuing players who could replace those being moved out, which once again is on the GM

Nope. We literally played 15 seconds of that powerplay with too many men on the ice. Refs don't care.
