Get Laviolette, at least he'd show emotion... Maybe he'd get our team to too?

Torts showed plenty of emotion, and 3/4 of this board called him a clown. The circular logic on this forum is maddening.

Positives: I don't have a single Ranger on my fantasy team
Negatives: I'm still in last

Christmas is ruined

Just two wins man! Never mind they went seven games against both the seventh and eight seeds in the process and ran out of gas in the series against the sixth ^%$#ing seed.

But yeah, Dubinsky and Prust would have prevented the prison sex that has been inflicted on the Rangers the past two nights..
.

Actually, I think they would have made a bigger difference than most players we could theoretically add to what we have. Sure, if we had Malkin and Crosby it would make a difference, but speaking of realistic players... yeah, two guys like that are EXACTLY what is absent from this roster.

Does that mean I don't make the trade? No comment. I honestly am 50/50; some days I like it, some days I regret it. I'm not talking about whether or not the trade was right or not. But those are two players who actually might give this team some life and show some outrage and some anger and passion.

Really don't think it's AV, I highly doubt he came in and said "Hey guys, let's try something new. Everyone bend over and stick their heads between their legs and see who can get their heads the furthest up their ***** and then let's play some hockey."

Doesn't matter what seed you face. They played their ***** off to get that 1st seed. And coming from behind 3-2 to win a Game 7 in one series shows a ton of character. Being able to win back to back Game 7's shows a ton of character. I'd take a team with that kind of resolve and mental toughness over how fragile this team looks.

And right now it's Dubinsky, Anisimov, Gaborik, Prust, etc, who have all been removed from the team now. You're talking about a total roster shake up after a Conference Finals appearance. Doesn't make sense.

People want a coach who shows emotion now? We just fired Tortorella.

You guys need to get a grip. It's 2 disgusting, pathetic, unwatchable games in a row, but there are 78 more.

pretty much......I put this on Sather. Almost entirely. and then the players, and then AV

In all seriousness, do people really think this is on AV?

Im honestly baffled by this whole situation right now. Are two teams in the NHL really a combined 15-2 better than the Rangers? We played so well against the Kings and then this happens? Is it AV? Is it lack of effort? Are the other teams really that good? Perennial bottom feeders in the NHL rarely get blown out this bad once, let alone twice in a row. Trying to figure this out and I am at a loss for words...

Well yes, Sather brought in the players, and the players aren't any good. But the scariest part is the players who have been good in the past, aren't good anymore and our franchise goalie is having trouble stopping a beach ball. Sure his defense has left him out to hang on several occasions, but the Lundqvist of the past would have stopped at least 1/3rd of those. He's been average at best. Does he deserve to shoulder the blame? Certainly not.

I liked Torts. He had a really bad year last year.

I've never seen anything as bad as what I'm seeing from AV. Holy ****. No wonder his Canucks looked liked victims against the Bruins.

if luongo could've played well in Boston for Game 6 or Game 7 AV has a Stanley Cup ring right now. It was a few years ago and so my memory may be blurry but that is what I remember.
