Not a huge fan of shuffling the lines but I understand it. It didn’t really work the first 10 minutes of the last game so I’m not necessarily optimistic. This underscores our glaring need to make an addition to bolster our bottom 6 (I am confident Fitz will do that closer to the trade deadline.). Haula and Mercer have been flat out awful. Cotter is struggling but at least he plays a physical game and can bring value even if he isn’t chipping in with goals. Personal feelings aside towards the human excrement that is Michael McLeod but he’s exactly the type of player we are missing for the bottom 6.

I would get immense satisfaction if we whip these clowns and are the team that ultimately provides the straw that breaks the camel back with Laviolette getting sh**canned!!

Hopefully he takes a coaching job some day. I feel like he’d do great as an assistant coach.

Would be nice to have him as an assistant coach and I think he'd be great in the role, but this is a tough gig to walk away from. He has some really good job security (especially compared to an assistant coach), doesn't have to worry about relocating his family and the hours are probably fairly light. Not even sure how much he has to travel on road trips, which is probably another plus for him.

Seems like the perfect job for him right now, as it keeps him involved with the game.
