I like that Nikolas Latta kid he had 66 Points and still was a minus 41 as a Forward! lol

Logan Nelson was previously a draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres. They didn't sign him to an entry level contract for whatever reason, but is a solid player. IMO he'll be the FA we sign out of this prospects camp. They sign at least one every year.

I would say a two-way guy with a booming left handed shot. Captained Colagte Uni. as well. I don't really know that much about him because I didn't watch much of Colgate, but they used him for practically everything on the back end it seems if he were the Captain. Is also 24 years old and listed at 6'2"/185lbs as per elite prospects.

None of the recent Rangers draft picks could come?

Never mind Duclair, Skjei, Tambellini, Skapski, and Bunch will be there.

Interesting that Skjei is going. Must be paying his own way.

Have a gut feeling Skjei may sign an ELC depending on what happens in the next couple of weeks.

If Staal is traded (hopefully), he could sign. Window of opportunity would be wide open for him.

Maybe he signs regardless, Staal could be traded later in the season, as well.

Either way, he is the future in that spot.

According to that Blueshirts United link, all the picks from this draft will be there.

Very encouraging that Skjei is attending. I look at it one of two ways; either he's very seriously considering going pro, or he's just very committed to the organization. Either way, this is great to see.

Colin Stevens--goalie for Union College led them to the National Championship last year. The final game was against Brady Skjei and his Minnesota U. Gophers. He could be a very, very good pickup.

No Shestroyrkin of course because that was probably too short notice. Graves has shoulder surgery so he won't be there. What about Nieves? He's not that far away.

Anyone who doesn't think Buchnevich is serious about coming over should see that he's been training in NA two summers in a row and will be here. He'll come over when his contract is up.

Skjei is a good charachter guy. Has his head on straight. When his minutes dipped a little in his freshman year and was cut from the WJC team, he didn't sulk, he didn't ditch Minnesota. He worked harder. He had a big season. He became a top guy in Minnesota, he won a spot on team USA's roster. His production doubled.

His mobility, fundamentals, positioning, and brains are of high-quality. Closes gaps quickly. Quickly makes the smart play with the puck.

Look at a guy like John Moore, add a higher hockey IQ. Skjei won't be McDonagh, but he will be our #2 LHD logging minutes against tough competition as a shut down guy, with the potential to eventually add some offense.

Sign Stralman.

McDonagh - Girardi
Skjei - Stralman
Moore - Klein

Would have to be one of, if not the most mobile defense corps in the league.

I don't know who the goalie coach is at Union off of the top of my head, but he is working miracles there. 3rd straight amazing goalie prospect he is developing. At some point, an organization may be smart enough to use a draft pick on a goalie heading there as a freshman and end up with a gem.

Would be nice to sign another goalie with that potential. Did he graduate? Hartford could use a quality goalie down there.

I see he turned 21 today.

Tapp has develop three All-American goaltenders in four seasons at Union. Last year, Colin Stevens earned All-American honors as the ECAC Hockey Ken Dryden Award winner. In 2011-12, Troy Grosenick entered the season with just one career start and became an All-American and Hobey Baker finalist. He later signed with the NHL's San Jose Sharks. In 2010-11, Tapp worked with All-American Keith Kinkaid.
