Pouliot continues to prove everyone but me wrong :D

Meanwhile Miller continues to prove me wrong... keep it up kiddo

Before we get going on goalies (well, I guess I'm getting it going), Talbot still maintained a save percentage of .900, which Lundqvist has failed to do in 6 out of his last 7 games.

And he still gave up the game winning goal on perhaps the softest goal of the season. Give it up. This team only succeeds if Lundqvist returns to form, period.

I'm the first to parade a moral victory but not tonight.

Need wins.

I think trading Nash makes us better now, with addition by subtraction.

Trade Nash but keep MZA.... got it.

you've been posting far too much lately.

Rangers should have at least a point in this team. Talbot has to make that save. And John Moore needs to learn the fundamentals of defense.

Meanwhile, once again, the primary scorers such as Nash, Stepan, and Richards are outplayed by the likes of Hagelin, Zucc, Pouliot, and even the 4th line had some good shifts. AV may have to hold some of the top players accountable and give them less ice time in favor of the more deserving players.

DZ did have a great game...

Don't trade him please. At least not yet.

I know, but people said that the goal 'proves why he's not a starter' and 'why he's been in the AHL his whole career'

Well that's their fault for trying to use a few shots, a microcosm, to justify a point that's entirely without merit.

I don't think he's really ready for full time starter work, but to say he's a "lifetime AHLer" is a bit extreme

slats retires end of this year.. Gordon fires AV hires mess.. trades Nash and mdz for yak and hemsky..hank goes back to normal self..we win cup

Stepan Kreider and Nash has been kept to the perimeter far too ****ing much. Kreider behind the net, Stepan drifting in the center, Nash on the left side along the boards. Nash doesn't seem to be able to protect pucks the way he used to. Our ****ing top line is lacking finish and play making because it's suddenly turned into a dump for Kreider to fetch and throw it around here and there for the team to turn over and rush back the other way with Kreider down low and Nash being Nash. Break that line up.

It's impossible for this team to get a lead and build off it. They've been playing from behind all season.

Dolan gave the Knicks a public vote of confidence. No firings. No trades. They play with zero intensity. None. Nothing but jump shots and no defense. They're getting booed every game. Well, it's easy not to trade anybody when nobody wants any of them.

The Rangers window is closed. Only two years. It's sealed shut. Luckily for them they have assets and draft picks to try again. A fire sale isn't necessary but at some point Sather needs to admit defeat. This team has no confidence in anything they do, and the coach is lost.

I mean, what a NY season. Victor Cruz just admitted Eli wasn't on the same page with his receivers all season. Really, Vic? Thanks for that news flash.

St. John's is pretty good. Fun to watch, kind of. Our cities only hope.

Nobody ****ing fights for places on the ice. its a huge problem

I meant the goal as a microcosm. That it could be representative of what he will be as a goalie. I should've worded it differently I suppose. The same way people refer to a player making a lazy play as representative of them as a player.

It's my even a bad thing. He looks like he will be a solid backup and that's all we need.

Yeah I really trust Messier. His coaching resume speaks for itself.

Messier coaching is horrible. Thanks for the cup Messier but nobody gives a **** about you in NY no more and nor do we want you coaching this team

It's funny all of these people saying how terrible this team is would probably say what a great win this was if Talbot stopped the last 2 goals, especially the 2nd one. We outplayed a pretty good team, but your goalie once again loses the game and the whole team sucks. We should have won this game. Goaltending, again thanks for nothing. Hank is garbage this year and Talbot is still not that reliable. He gives up way too many soft goals, thankfully not that many total, but too many softies. I've seen more softies this year already than in the last 2 seasons combined. And they all come at the worst times. It's like Hank and Talbot are sadists or something, every softy they give up are in terrible times. This team blew more points this year in the 3rd period than the Rangers have had in at least 5 years.

Effort was there for the most part. But some inconsistency with the lines. I think we got to blow up the Nash/Step/Krieder line. Its just not producing with any consistency anymore.

Agree Nash had 2 great chances tonight and both came with Stepan not on the ice.

AV imo has to stop relying on Stepan in all situations. He's a classic passenger.

Rick Nash has played 22 games. In 9 wins, he has 4g-6a-10p and is a +12. In 13 losses, he has 2g-2a-4p and is a -16.

5 points in 12 December games.

3 hits on the season in 22 games.

Sit him down. Send a message. Do something.
