And some may not be fans of the sport, and that's fine. I prefer hockey as a sport.

But MLB > NHL AINEC.

Yes, @chosen, pretty much every NHL team sucks. The league is over-coached and watered-down, and the hard cap is a tumor on the league.

These assertions raise a few points:

1. If every team sucks, no team sucks.
2. Baseball has more players than hockey. Doesn't that make it more watered-down?
3. What does over-coached mean?
4. Someone who thinks a hard cap is a tumor is most likely a fan of a big-market MLB team. Is it Yankees for you?
5. Would you be in favor of abolishing the NHL draft and allowing players to sign wherever they want?
6. Most importantly, why if you hate the NHL, do you post here and even pay attention to it, at all?

It's a bit unusual already that in a Rangers' game nobody scored his 1st NHL goal. In the previous game it was Andersson, the game before it was Pionk. Besides, in the previous game Chytil got his 1st point for an assist, and the game before Georgiev was 4,5 minutes up to his 1st shutout. Nothing of the kind happened in this game. Probably next game will be marked by Chytil's 1st NHL goal.
