After the 2nd goal, I could feel a Kreider hat trick coming. He just had that desire to shove it down Torts throat. Kreider doesn't seem like the smartest guy in the world, maybe someone can convince him that Torts coaches 29 teams so he puts up a hat trick every game lol

Really? Kreider is a grad of BC, not to shabby an education.

The Rangers are in a pretty good spot. Despite all the **** at the beginning of the season, and being only 14-13, the Rangers are tied for 2nd in the division, a great spot to be in considering how the playoffs work and the way the Atlantic looks this year.

10 games at home, and 17 on the road so far. If the Rangers can string together a good homestand here like 9-3, 8-4, it's a great opportunity to get some separation and get climbing in the standings.

On another bright point, the Rangers are tied with the Caps for second. Caps have just 7 ROW, Rangers have 14

Let's get going here!

this is a problem with the point system. no way shud 2 teams be tied int he standings when one team has twice as many wins.

Its funny some people have questioned Kreider intellect but he seems like a smart kid and graduate of a good college. Also didnt someone say he spoke like 5 languages or soemthing?

He graduated in three years, as well. That is a tough schedule for a full time division 1 hockey player.

I was gonna say I was pretty sure he graduated early but wasn't 100% sure.

Also remember hearing some tidbits about him speaking a few other languages.

LOL Biron just tore into the team for yesterday's game. No forecheck, no effort. Honestly dont think Ive ever heard any of the plugs on MSG say that. Biron is GOAT.

Yes. Make Marty a permanent on MSG.

Why are they staring at Pidto?

also, fun fact: Kreider speaks 5 languages.

I think he went to Andover or Phillips Exeter for prep school too. Those are elite academic boarding schools. He definitely has a brain, didn't Torts criticize him for overthinking/overcomplicating things last year?

There's something honorable about poor fighters that fights? Not that he had much of a choice this time. Fantastic game by the Kreider line. Richards still not comfortable even on the wing. Regarding Zuke, he's almost always the third man back? Think he quietly had a good game. Wouldn't mind Richards, Brass, Zuke for a try. And Miller between Callahan and Hagelin maybe. Moore is a 4th liner, so is Dorsett and Boyle. Makes a solid 4th line though. Goalie situation must be the best in the league.

Huge game for Kreider. He needed to break out with some goal scoring. He has the talent. He's been getting better and better.

Talbot--Nash--McDonagh--Girardi--Stralman--Zuccarello and Boyle also had big games. Nice goal by Del Zotto. 1st pwp goal for him in a while. Dorsett fighting way over his weight class.

It's a bad joke. 3 points for a regulation win fixes everything.

Anyway....back OT:

So glad to see the puck going in for Kreider. That line is extremely dangerous. Who do you cover when Kreider is banging bodies and Nash is cruising around using his reach?

On the downside, I hope we do not see Zook fade away...
