It’s really not when you’re 1st overall and 2nd overall have combined for 5 points through 20 games in their draft+2 and draft+3 seasons. LaF and Kakko are f***ing shit and it’s time to admit it.

Put Kakko on the 4th line. Maybe the puck possesion game of that line may help him? IDK.

He was great but Hank would almost never lose in OT, though to be fair most of his career it was 4 on 4. But man, that goal against was f***ing painful.

What’s even more laughable is to say this in a manner as if the Rangers went off the board and made some wild pick at those spots. They made the consensus pick that every other team would.

Like I said take a breather guy.

I signed up for the ESPN + package this season so I’ve been watching a whole bunch of NHL games.
The one thing I have noticed is that there’s a lot of bad teams in the league and I’m pretty sure we’re one of them. It’s mainly due to Shesterkin that we have won this many games so far.

What psychotic take? LaF has been worse than Yakupov and Daigle so far. I don’t disagree that they were consensus and I never did.

Yea idk what to say at this point. It’s just sad they don’t care outside of Fox and Shesty. I’m tired of not being proud of my team. If they lose after leaving it all out on the ice fine, but it’s disgraceful the effort they put forward on a nightly basis. Most of the players on this team are not go getters. They defer to the next guy. It’s the bystander effect with this team. The status quo, might not have been Quinn. Im starting to think it was panarin, zib, strome, etc that have been the real issue all along. It seems like whatever they want, they do, and no one is going to tell them otherwise.
 
I'm not blaming Shesterkin for this loss, he was our best player and the team sucked. But he seems to lose more than he wins in OT the last two seasons all I was saying, it's extremely frustrating.

The excitement I felt for these kids…

I’m not ready to give up on Kakko. I think he’ll be good. Take him off that line. But I am getting concerned.

If I’m the Rangers, I’m trying to move Kakko and Chytil. I just don’t think they’re ever going to realize their potential. I’m also loving some of these defensemen too.

The trade of Buchnevich and the issue of Kravtsov have really crushed our RW depth. Previously, it was if Kakko or Kravtsov or LaFreniere make a leap it’s gravy. Now, it’s imperative one of them replace Buchnevich and neither are close…

The offensive challenges aren’t going away. I would be looking at moving Kakko for an experienced scorer, IMO.
