I have no idea what that means.
So Tony was the guy that took over for Jack Fleming at WVU in the booth. Jack's prettymuch regarded as one of the greats of all time for sports, he's the guy that called this play:

It was pretty controversial when Jack was let go as well, but Tony not just filled in adequately but grew to become one of the better announcers in college sports in his own right

The Rongos had what 1 shot on 9 pps?

They didn't look particularly dangerous.

Canes had like 20 scoring chances to the Rongos 5.

I'm just afraid that our team is playing with fire by taking so many penalties. Their PK is so amazing at times that it looks like they're still playing 5-on-5, but it's still not ideal when you have Zibanejad and Panarin lurking in the background.

Trocheck was really good today. Night and day difference from him today and in the exhibition game from when we last saw him in March.

Having a full training camp to adjust to our club was IMO a really good thing for the Trocheck/Skjei/Vatanen trio. It's yet another argument in favor of acquiring guys at the deadline with at least a year left on their contracts, if available.

My .02:

-I was very impressed with Skjei, and the D as a whole. But man, Skjei really did look like a different player, defensively competent and had some decent chances offensively as well. He should compliment Pesce very well.

-Vatanen is exactly what the Dr ordered. He seems a tad slow and he did get badly beaten by Buchenevich for the first Ranger goal, but he also seems very poised out there. I’d love it if they could find a way to retain him, but I ain’t holding my breath.

Slavin-Hamilton
Skjei-Pesce
Fleury-Vatanen

I could live with that.

-Trocheck was dangerous and used pretty heavily by RBA in all situations, which is great at that should hopefully allow Staal to achieve beast-mode more often.

-I’d rather see Dzingel over Niederreiter, but I doubt we see that unless there’s an injury up front. No way the Geekie line gets broken up after today.

-Getting Hamilton back, fingers-crossed, sometime soon will be amazing if he can pick up where he left off before he got hurt and if they can keep playing at this this level.
