Post-Game Talk: Rangers @ Canadiens | 3/30/13 | March 17th, 2009 Is All I Have To Say

Yeah. We should start a riot that we didn't fire the coach that nearly brought us to the SCF. Wait. I forgot. We aren't in Montreal and don't riot over nothing.

D'Antoni brought the Knicks to the playoffs after years of suckage.

They fired him because he failed to deliver the next season, and the team improved significantly

I thought Biron played well and he did all he could do outside of trying to score himself.

He was fine, they got shutout 6-0 over the past two, felt like 100-0.

If Gabby and Richie ain't going to turn it around, which all points to them not, the season is over anyways. Don't make any trades, keep the picks you got, if you can rid of some of the garbage Wednesday, by all means do it.

Yeah but Tikkanen was a good hockey player as well as one of the best yappers to ever play. Avery never sniffed 30 goals or 70 points and took so many dumb penalties. He was drawn into **** too easily.

Under Renney, Avery played in 86 regular season games and scored 23 goals and had 30 assists.

That's pretty damn good for a third liner in today's NHL.

Avery's problem with the Rangers was the clown behind the bench who had him on a leash and never let Avery play his game.

No, I loved him as a kid. That epic beard, and his fights were awesome. Barnaby was also a favorite of mine, he had balls the size of a building, he fought a prime Chara on more than 1 occasion. Josef Ballej was interesting for me as well, hell, I was even a fan of Malakhov and his slapper. But Sandy was my guy.

Ah, Mr. Sandman.

Memories.

I liked Sandy, but he was kind of a puss. I legitimately think a past Barnaby could help this team right now.

There's a huge difference in going to the playoffs and nearly making the SCF.

Sorry, but they ALMOST went to the SCF in spite of Tortorella, not because of him. He burnt out his top 4 d-men, refused to consistently roll 4 lines, and that's what ended up biting us in the ass against the Devils. Their 4th line obliterated ours. Torts has been piggy backing his success off of an elite, Vezina winning goaltender for years already. What would his résumé look like if we never had Hank....you really think we win 2 rounds?

128 mins since we last scored..

Shutout twice in a row..

We're this weeks joke..

At least zuke proved people wrong that he's too small etc. He was everywhere tonight, Even blocking with his head when Biron was out of place..threw his body around and didn't back down..
