Why does this fanbase insist on ripping on Biron? Its a mystery to me. He is the best backup we've had in a very, very long time.

Because he doesn't match the standard of Lundqvist (The best goalie in the world).

He is, and he is one of the better backups in the league.

I don't want him starting this game. I know Hank has had his issues in Montreal but he is our franchise. Let him battle his demons.

Same reason they rip on DZ. Memes like "BIRONS 5-HOLE SO BIG" and "DEL ZASTER" are funnier for some reason than acknowledging when they play really well.

Biron's ability too play the puck will aid a crippled NYR blueline against the speed of Montreal. If I were coaching, I would even encourage defenders under too much pressure to play the puck to Marty.

I actually like the decision. Biron is a hit or miss goaltender in a game we won't be expected to win. Save Lundqvist for a more ostensibly competitive contest.

Biron in net is at the bottom of the long list of reasons why this game could potentially be terrible.

Biron is actually a good thing, probably.

8-2 Montreal.

Hagelin 2 goals.

Rangers get brutally outplayed and outchanced against skilled Habs.

So did Thomas ever get on his plane? Still snowing pretty hard in Montreal.

I do believe so, if he's on the roster and all reports are he is on enroute AND his dad is reportedly on his way to MTL to see the game (his dad is an assistant coach for the lightning and they have a game tonight at 7, so awfully nice of the lightning organization to let him off tonight)...I am pretty sure if he was not DEF in or going to make it in time his dad would not be coming. just my thoughts and reading between all the reports.

It's time to show why you're the core of this team. it's time for 2 lines and 1 D pairing to put the game on their back.

I don't think he will....during the lockout torts was watching games and practices of the whale, so he should know what he is getting. The team needs more offensive so he will be put in a position to help him and the team succeed tonight!! :yo:
