Post-Game Talk: Rangers @ Bruins - Rags win 4-3 in shootout

might be a little bit irrational to pin this on him but I am really mad at Seguin's performance all night tonight :shakehead

He was definitely off. I blame the whole team though for letting the Rags lull them to sleep as they always do. GREAT comeback...one of the best...but it never should have gotten there. That team is not that good. One superstar line and then meh.

This team has to understand that they need to get the dirty goals to score consistently. They need to stop blasting then from the point when there's no bodies in front of the net

This, this, this.

The Bruins kept shooting from the point or just past the blue line.

To score-especially on Lundqvist you have to get dirty. You have to head for the net and get in his face.

All three goals were dirty and came from work in front of the net.

Miraculous that the Bruins got a point so I'm.. somewhat happy, haha. I feel like 90% of the goals they score come in the 3rd period

Too bad Tuukka couldn't redeem himself in the shoot out. Thomas was always good about that. He'll shake it off though, no doubt.

Rask has always been very poor in the shoot out

Let me get my decoder ring.

Nope, still doesn't make sense

He types like he just puts his face down on the keyboard and rolls it back and forth hoping for a coherent sentence

also.. mods need to either ban him or people need to stop quoting him. The kid is negative as **** and provides nothing thought provoking to any conversation. Just NHL conspiracy theories and "this player sucks" and "that player blows"... yawn.

My brain tells me to be happy with the 1 point, we robbed them.

My heart wanted more. Thought we deserved more after that comeback.

Gonna focus on the fact that they showed a lot of sack to come back and tie it up. Anyone can win when they play their best, but a true ace will carry you when he doesn't have his best stuff and guts it out for seven innings.

It would have been easy for them to fold after the 3rd Rangers goal and they didn't.

They're a real pain in the ass to play against.

Goaltenders often steal games for the players, but I think tonight the players stole a point for Tuukka. They still owe him a few.

Hopefully Tuukka (or Khodobin) comes out ready for Buffalo on Friday (can't believe we are over half done with Buffalo after Friday but still haven't seen Ottawa).

We're done with the Rangers, too.

For such an error-prone effort (2 unforced giveaways leading to Rangers goals and a bad goal allowed by Tuukka) I'm very, very pleased the Bs got the point. They showed great heart coming back from 3 down.
