I was right before- we should have grabbed Nash. Imagine him on the Bruins

At nearly $8m/season ... I'd rather not imagine that. This team won a Cup because of depth, and the ability to run more than 1 or 2 scoring lines out there; having Nash at that salary would make this team change its entire make-up and become, IMHO, way too centric on one single line.

Rask did not have a good game.. Hey if he doesn't let in that softie we would of won this game, right.

Tough to say that - if Rask doesn't let in that 3rd goal, the B's undoubtedly go back to a normal 5+1 attack (e.g. 5 skaters + 1 netminder) after the ENG so it's hard to just presume that they'd score that 3rd goal in regulation.

man my computer was down during the second and just got back on now to see one hell of a result. Glad they found a way to get a point out of it.

This, this, this.

The Bruins kept shooting from the point or just past the blue line.

To score-especially on Lundqvist you have to get dirty. You have to head for the net and get in his face.

All three goals were dirty and came from work in front of the net.

That's one of our main problems on the pp. Shoot from the blueline. It doesn't work. We gotta get to the net more. We see what good things can happen from it.

In this Conference only schedule, every pt. is critical and tonight was a big one.

The Rangers will be a formidable opponent if they meet in the play-offs.

Calm, cool, and collected down by 3. May not have won, but this team is just so good. If/when they ever start scoring they're going to roll teams.

Why all of a sudden are rangers games so damn good?!

I honestly thought Boston played just fine. A couple awful plays defensively that didn't hurt them, Ference got turned inside out by Nash, Rask has a tough night and everyone but Marchand makes a bad choice in the SO. Gotta shoot!! Fun game. I'll take the point

Hard to complain about that 3rd period. I'll take the point and enjoy not seeing the Rangers again this year.

8-1-2, 18 of 22 points on the year, and this team isn't even rolling yet.

BTW - why can't we score on the PP if we can score 6-5?

Because our PP is passive and anemic. In that 6 on 5 the team was playing with aggression and desperation. They were in front of the net and putting shots on goal and looking for some garbage to put in the net. The PP they just pass the puck around and don't get in front of the net or shoot enough (although tonight one of the PP's actually seemed to generate some chances just no points and the first goal was all but a PP goal since Nash was out of the box but not in any position to contribute to the defense).

I feel great

I am Ok with the loss. I turned the channel when it was 3-0. I just found out 5 minutes ago it went to a shootout.

Fun game. Tuukka will bounce back no doubt. Glad we got a point. Now I'm off to spend a few nights in the Alaskan wilderness. I'll be back to watch a DVR'd Bos-Buf game Friday night.

Big point. We did not deserve it. Great effort in the last minute.

Ward needs to be fired! A brutal powerplay.

It needs to get fixed otherwise psychologically this team will struggle in the playoffs.

Well, you can’t win ‘em all, nice comeback, but we'll need better goaltending next game!

He types like he just puts his face down on the keyboard and rolls it back and forth hoping for a coherent sentence

also.. mods need to either ban him or people need to stop quoting him. The kid is negative as **** and provides nothing thought provoking to any conversation. Just NHL conspiracy theories and "this player sucks" and "that player blows"... yawn.

Negative !!! You bash Rask steady cause his name is not Thomas.

I am 100% sure it would have worked out. Also, the power play blows. He would have helped that instantly. You need at least one game changer. Take away Thomas and Savard salary and boom....there it is. We would lose a player or two along the way, but the benefit would far outweigh it. I am 100% convinced. Looch is a 6m/season player. If that is true than Nash is a 7.8m/season player.
