3 games in a row where the goalie was pulled.

I wonder when the last time that happened.

Would be a good trivia question for Sam & Joe.

I feel somewhat confident about Wednesday

Anyone know if they'll stop in NY or go straight to DC?
I think some time back home could do them some good

Yeah, I can't get too mad about this. Collectively the Rangers played well. Certain individuals were pretty piss poor though.

I expect some shakeups leading up to the Caps game.

I've been pissed, but no panic (yet)... but now that 5 games have gone by...

Ugh...I don't want to write off Dorsett just yet, but he has a LOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go before he becomes Brandon Prust.

I don't want to hear any more comparisons to Prust until Dorsett starts to positively contribute.

Stop in NY. The biggest thing is 21 goals against in 3 games. It used to take the opposition 12 games to score 21 goals.

Better.

I liked the way we looked for a lot of the game. Still some mental mistakes that SHOULD be taken care of as the season goes on and the system gets put into place. This including Fast and Staal miscue, and Stepan's terrible turnover in the offensive zone that led to the Backes (LOL) goal.

If Biron makes a big save, who knows what happens in this game.

What is disconcerting, still, is that the team straight up quit - again - after that fifth goal. It was all Blues after that.

Dorsett needs to learn that he has a ****ing target on his back by the refs, and play his game accordingly. And if he's going to talk and play a big game, he needs to back it up. Reeve was playing like a crazy person all night, and with Asham out, and DD not backing up his ****, nobody stood up to the plate to take him on.

**** you, Marty.

Well, they didn't get blown out of the building, so that's an improvement.

I think we can put to rest the notion that Dorsett will be a replacement for Prust. So many momentum-sucking penalties, just brutal.

Step in the right direction. Forecheck, PP and Richards all looked pretty great. Defense and goaltending was the weak spot tonight... And Dorsett, holy ****.

One step closer....to Ekblad...or perhaps the Deutschland Dangler...

I'm infuriated because this was such a winnable game. But I guess I have to be humble and accept that they "weren't terrible" for now, I suppose.
