Yes but is there a Mark Messier leadership award? We're now the only team in the NHL with a Hart, Art Ross, Norris, Calder, Vezina, Ted Lindsay, Conn Smythe, and Jack Adams winner on it.

Maybe we can find a few more in Gallant's caveWe had to look for pennies in Drury's couch just to do this
He still produced 92 points last year. And while everyone is bemoaning his season this year, he's actually not far off from a PPG pace.Totally agreed. A bit of a pedantic argument on my side. My main point is, I totally understand why some folks (myself included) are worried about injecting Kane into the lineup even though we got him for very little. Metrics show that the last three years, he's been a FAR cry from the player he was in his prime. Plus, it's always hard to quantify what effect this might have on other players who get pushed down the lineup.
I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic about this.
I hate to tell you all this but, this is it. This is the year to win. The Rangers will not ice a better team than this for years, perhaps even decades.
The clock started ticking when we signed Panarin and Fox walked on water at the NHL level. The clock started ticking much faster when Laf and Kakko disappointed and every other pick besides Chytil and Miller busted. The clock is ticking alarmingly fast as Igor's deal is 2 years from expiry.
This is our shot whether you like it or not, suggest getting with the program because you're in for a long and miserable next few years if this don't work out. The difference is that we're in for that long and miserable next few years whether we traded for Tara/Kane or not.
And I say all this as someone who adamantly didn't want him before.
I never said anything other than the fact that I dislike the condition of the 1st. Should've been for winning it all. Other than that, this is a steal of a deal. Happy now?Maybe I was confusing you with the other guy that was incessantly bitching but the point still stands, you aren’t going to get a player for nothing, you need to give up a least something of value. A 2024 or 2025 is about as low value as you can get in this situation.
I think the helmet toss heard round the world will win that oneYes but is there a Mark Messier leadership award?
PIZZA FOR EVERYONE!Can we just take a step back and acknowledge the direction Drury has taken the team in 18 short months.
Can't discount that.I think the helmet toss heard round the world will win that one
As someone who went to school outside of Chicago early in Kane's career and somewhat adopted the Hawks as their "2nd favorite team", Kane became my favorite player to watch in all of hockey. I know, I know, he's a nightmare off the ice. But I couldn't be more excited to see what he looks like on the ice as a Ranger.one of my favorite players ever, been dreaming of this since 2008. could not care less about the conditional 1st
Agreed should be cup win rather than making ECF. Winning only 2 rounds just doesn’t matter that much at this point and will hurt us down the roadI never said anything other than the fact that I dislike the condition of the 1st. Should've been for winning it all. Other than that, this is a steal of a deal. Happy now?
In what, a satanic cult?I’m known as the life of the party.
You could say they woke the f*** up after thatCan't discount that.
the best way to improve the defense would be scratching Schneider and getting a competent #6 but they won't do that
You wasted your first post after lurking for 5 years to come here to tell us this? Impressive! Please include Laf or Kakko in the trade just so that this dysfunctional nightmare of an organization can stop ruining their careers! Please why are you doing this to them?
