I didnt even make it to 930. No more west coast games is a blessing. It feels like we've barely played teams in our division. Is this normal for scheduling? I feel like I don't remember because of the structure of last season.

I gotta' rewatch the play, but I was a little annoyed at the play, where in our own zone it seemed Lindgren had his back was turned, and a SJ player (Meier?) comes in for a hit by turning his body and throwing his back into Lindgren. I don't think a ref should let a player get away with that. But I have to rewatch it to see if Lindgren's back was fully turned.

I admit, I wanted Paju to play but hearing Greco is a local kid, his story, and his effort, that's feel good stuff and him sticking around as a 13th forward would be nice.

I noticed it too. Definitely a hit from behind. It wasn’t too hard or egregious though. Coupled with the weird ass-first way TM threw it I thank that’s why it wasn’t called.

No, but I think it threw Lindgren off not expecting to be hit like that with the play continuing. It didn't end up egregious but was a little reckless.

The one thing that's really awesome is that we have a lot of guys that will become good nhl players in the minors, some of whom a lot of us know little about. If we look at the guys that got call ups lately they've all done well here, Schneider, Jones, Barron, Gettinger, Greco have all looked good and i was the last person that had any interest in Gettinger but he's looked faster and more physical this go around. Ofcourse only 2 of those mentioned were really expected to be NHL players when we drafted them. Imagine when the guys that are expected come along, Kravtsov, Othmann, Garand, etc. If we don't do something stupid this team should be perennial contenders for 10+ years.

Amen! i miss Braden's first goal...Kreider's first ever shorty.

I only caught the third period so going to rewatch the game now but think you guys are all seeing why Rangers were so high on Schneider and if you recall at the draft I told u that multiple teams had him as a top 10 pick.

he’s got it all and most importantly he’s very trouba like in his leadership and maturity. He’s letter wearing material.

Rangers are in first place while playing 23 of their first 38 games on the road including all their west coast games. Don’t let that go unmentioned. They are gearing up for a big second half. Mark my words. And I do believe hertl will be here by the deadline.
