You overreact nearly every game along with many others here. Pens must suck because they lost 6-2 to the Kings. Carolina lost 6-0 to Columbus. They might as well blow it up right? Ottawa beat Calgary too. This is why individual games mean very little in the grand scheme. Shit happens.

Great bounce back game. Besides the individual standout play by Shesty and Braden, I think the whole team played well. Gettinger, Nemeth, Greco, Rooney, Trouba all made their presence felt. I don't think anyone had a bad game tonight. Chytil might have been a bit hesitant. Didn't seem to want to push the play up ice, relegating it to Panarin and Strome. Wasn't flying all over the ice or hunting the puck like he normally does. Playing with those two might have taken him out of his game. Other than that, and Panarin still a bit rusty, is all the criticism I can muster.

I think Braden is gonna stick around. He obviously has a better defensive game than that of Jones or Lundqvist. Doesn't hurt that he is physically bigger and stronger than those two either. Great first game. And something tells me he can back that game up with even more great efforts.

Chytil on the wing and Schneider solidifying the 3rd paid helps save assets and really focus on a 2C rental and depth.

Yep. Nemeth has very little offensive upside but he can play a reliable defensive game. And he did today. Still want to see Jones in that spot. And hope Lundkvist gets more action.

Truth. I’m really worried that he’s going to get injured though. Not an impact injury. But a muscle pull or something, while fighting. Why does every team try to fight him? It’s irritating. Some players run around and never get challenged. Trouba plays a strong clean game and gets challenged twice a week. Eventually he’s gonna get injured.
