Doesnt seem all that farfeteched. I found a folder of 15-20 year old pictures in my Barracuda, along with some parts slips with a customer name. The hard drive aint so different, and considering the strange obsession and almost cult-like following the E30 has, I'm not surprised there was a hard drive kicking around with glamour shots lol

Hell, I wish I still had the photos of the pieces of shit cars I had through high school and college. Cardomain is now extinct so it's all gone

In case someone is wondering why my garage is a mess... It used to be much worse. I was diagnosed with ADD as a kid but never got any treatment for it and just kind of ignored it, but a few months ago I realized so much of the negative my life is due to ADHD and decided to get medication for it. The meds literally changed my life.

Before (and this was AFTER cleaning to fit the car in the garage):

After nearly 40 years I realized I needed to make a change. It was incredibly hard to deal with that sort of mess in the past, but I'm in a good place now.

edit: Heavily edited post to help clean up the mess that this thread became for a moment.

Installed the diff, bolted the driveshaft and axles up, got the e-brake working, and bolted the fuel cell back in the trunk. Also finished the rear brake lines (not pictured when I took this shot). Big progress today.

My garage is as clean as its ever been, and I also took a moment to fill the motor with oil and prime the oil system, check for leaks in the oil pan I welded. Can report back, several hours after I filled it, zero oil spots. Oil pan is completely sealed and I'm extremely happy about that.

My other E30 is now ready to be taken away. I'm giving it to my buddy, who will no doubt turn it into a drift missile. Can't wait to see what he does.

I need to wash my Miata now... Drove into work this morning behind a construction semi that was spraying my car with muddy water the whole way...

In other news, yesterday I transferred the title on both BMWs finally. I was really worried I wouldn't be able to for various issues, but the title service I went to did it no problem. Means I can build my red BMW for the street, and my buddy who is getting my blue one can do the same.

That sucks! Sometimes that muddy water dries like concrete and is harder to clean off too!

Yeah I went ahead and cleaned it off when I got home, not a full wash but enough to get that stuff off. I work at a stone mill, so I'm very used to lots of stone dust, but not like this.

I feel like i should wash my car, too, but i don't want to. Anyone else occasionally tailgate someone to get enough roadspray to wipe the windows because they want the washer fluid to last?

Spotted a Polestar at the hockey game this weekend, love these things. Saw a white one on the highway a while back and had to catch up to it just to gaze at it. Beautiful looking vehicles, one of the best looking EVs IMO.

lol yes I have done this for sure. Sometimes the car ahead spits back with better windshield coverage than my washer fluid nozzles

I do that in the winter probably more frequently than I should...

Not really car chat but I thought I would rant with you guys.

I ordered a Milwaukee heated jacket back in November through Home Depot and it still hasn't shipped. Called home depot...no f***s given. Called Milwaukee and the first lady I talked too at least gave a shit but since she was in Wisconsin she couldn't help and transferred me to the Canada division where no f***s were given.

I work outside a lot and was really looking forward to this. They'll probably ship it in March when I won't need it anymore. Super pissed

I've had pretty good luck with tool companies. Dewalt ive called and complained about their batteries and they just sent me 2 xrp's for free.

Stanley? Called n said i snapped a tool and had another one shipped the next week.

Mastercraft? Yep you just walk into Canadian Tire and get a new one. No receipt or anything.

Milwaukee? Just a big f*** you
