The fact that Cherington just said "rest of this month" really supports the idea that Skenes may be up in May. Really hoping that's the case.

Jones is inevitably going to give up runs just because of where he places the ball, but his stuff is just downright filthy.

Yep, he's going to get tagged eventually middle/middle but right now, I'll take the strike throwing coupled with the movement he's getting on the heater and slider.

If he can hone his placement of pitches, yowza.

That might be Jones most impressive inning. Leadoff triple that he strands after some excellent execution.

He's already got me feeling better long term than Keller ever did.

Henry Davis needs to start doing something in games that matter btw. I know it's way early but I've been less than impressed with his AB's.
