Apparently the dman the Rangers got them has helped them a lot. So maybe we realistically wouldn't have topped the Kraken offer. But Struble + seemed like a good package.

Davidson is working hard whole season, he deserves it much more.
Give him a rookie lap, few games and send him back to Laval later. That is the message you want to send to your AHL prospects.

I’d rather have a young guy with size - Ala Davidson, Tuch, Xhekaj - over another small guy that would finish third in a two horse race.

I think it has more to do with wanting Davidson Mesar and Beck rested for tomorrow.

Tomorrow does not really matter. It is not game 7 of Calder cup finals.

Davidson has serious skating issues that still need to improve. RHP was called up as a possible emergency fill in and was unlikely to play. I prefer they yo-yo players with no future here than do it with players who may still have a chance.

I think he was first man up in terms of experience. They gave him a shot, he didn't impress, next guy can come up now. Pezz should be done now I hope. He was a loyal soldier but the team is beyond him now.

Hoping for Tuch next. I don't mind him playing 4th line minutes and simplifying his game. Don't think that will hurt his development like it would for a more offensive player.

Unless RHP wants to sign an AHL contract, I don't see him back, just turned 26, not a 'young guy' anymore. Next.

Tuch would be nice to see where he's at in his pro development, but I read somewhere he struggled lately (didn't watch Laval for the last couple games though, so that's just hearsay from me).

While his game is certainly nothing to write home about, I wouldn't mind having Condotta back, he's gritty, plays all F positions and his game is very simple, at least he could provide what Pezzetta can't.

Wonder if Roy learned something about hard work since he was sent down. And probably too early for Davidson.
