Rafaël Harvey Pinard Recalled from the Laval Rocket Sent Down Jan 31 25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
I hoped for Davidson but I guess politics (not the franco thing, but more the hierarchy) played a role here. RHP played in the NHL already and it was his turn, but I guess he won't have a whole lot of leash.

Gonna go with under.

Why not? TDL is approaching, you'd want to give opportunities to scouts watching your stock against NHL caliber opposition.

The guy has no futur. We don’t have need
For another midget

No. Beck and Davidson are probably not called up because they don't think they are ready.

They are giving different players the chance to cash in a NHL salary for few days.

Stop gap, leave the real prospects in Laval. Pezzetta has played himself off the team. RHP however is too small and too slow. Can't wait for Heineman to get back

Cant believe a stop gap expiry contract on waivers or late pick addition hasnt been done.

Even with Emil healthy, you need a 13th forward if you dont want to keep Laval intact especially as its clear, Pez isnt to be trusted or used

You have enough picks in the first 4 rounds to give up so later ones or a prospect you dont intend on offering a contract to

I want more skill in the top 6. We'll see what Granlund goes for at the deadline. But last time it was only a 2nd and he didn't do much for the team that acquired him. So based on that his trade value would be low. But he's having a really good season.

If the price is low I'd like to try him in the top 6 and then have Newhook slide back to the bottom 6 - or just try Granlund in the bottom 6.

But Grier may be able to get a 1st for him if he waits out the market. There aren't that many top 6 forwards on the supply side of the market this year.

What's going on is that Mesar is a 21 years old who is in his rookie and missed a bunch of time this year. It's better for him to play in the AHL than be the 12th/13th forward.

He'll get his chance another time.
