You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

A leopard can't change his spots.

Your fellow fans should set you straight and not wait for us to do it.

Ok, I am jealous. He should garnish a 6-10 1st round pick. I mean top 5 would be over kill.

He looks elite so far, which isn't really saying much because it is preseason. But still, he looks really good.

I doubt they would trade him at the deadline. I think they would much rather try to re-sign him.

he isnt the kind of guy contending teams are gonna target.
whats the market for a guy who got benched the last time he was in the playoffs because he was out partying the night before a game?

If by the trade deadline he's doing as well as everyone in Montreal hopes, then I think they'll already have an extension in the works. He's a player that Montreal really needs and he should make a great fit with the rest of the core.

This guy will be back in the KHL by the trade deadline. He never seems to finish what he starts. Wouldn't shock me if he is a bust.

You wouldn't say that if you actually watch him play.

He plays hard w/ alot of intensity, he's not a floater. Someone who has unbelievable talent and is a hard worker is very unlikely to fail in the NHL. Guy is really strong on his skates too, he's a tank.

He'll have a 60 point season at the very minimum, could also reach 70. He's an elite playmaker.

I am still moderately enthusiastic with Radulov. The skills are still there, that's for sure, and so is the will at the moment. The guy could have been such an enormous star all those years.

why would the habs trade their 50g future conn smythe trophy winner

He's also a preseason first ballot HOFer.

I'd give up a 2nd and a 3rd/decent prospect and a conditional 2nd if he resigns, if he's as good as he seems so far...

Assuming Radulov scores 30/30 or 20/40-50 which seems very possible considering his form, he would commend quite a bit. A top prospect + 1rst round

I'd be surprised if the situation arose but I don't see any way Radulov doesn't put up 25-30 goals. The guy is talented as all heck despite his other issues. He's a totally different reclamation project than Semin. Radulov has been playing at a high level even over seas. Semin lost his desire and willingness to put in a high effort at any level of professional hockey.

Edit: Also want to throw out there about Semin, when he's not playing on a team that has a chance, he packs it in. On a team with a legit chance on a solid line where he feels appreciated he's a different player, he needs his ego stroked.

Depends on what Therriens head looks like and how many whacks with the stick it took to get it that way.
