OK i just watched the game vs toronto and I thought he may have been Tampas best dman. I know it was a soft goal that he scored, but overall I thought he was great and the coach obviously thought so too because he was out every other shift for the 2nd and 3rd periods it seemed. I think he will definately be used as a top 4 dman the rest of the year and he may possibly make a couple of other dmen expendable at the deadline now. Coaches have alot of confidence in him right now

Yup he was their best Dman IMO.

does all the small things great... love his hit total after each game too... Bolts have a gem here I think

I don't know why it took so long to bring him up to the NHL, even for just a taste. He looked ready for the NHL in his AHL rookie season, and I think he wasn't called up later in the season last year because Norfolk was playing so well in the AHL. He belongs in the NHL.

best D-man of Tampa ? Great to hear... Kasparaitis style, that is the thing, what we need in national team also. GO Radko !!!

Even though he scored, he wasn't as good last night imo. Got caught out of position couple of times.

So this was one of his weaker games??? I hadnt seen him play yet and this was the first game ive seen him play...Ya, I agree there were a few times where he did get caught out of position, but overall I thought he was great. After those mistakes I wondered how the coaches would react, and next thing I knew, he was out the next shift, which is huge. Coaches seem to really like him.

Positionally, yes, it was probably his weakest game overall. The coaches have definitely seemed to put a lot on his plate so far but it's worked out well so hopefully he continues this level of play. He may not stay up the rest of the season (particularly if they want him to get another playoff run in in the AHL) but I can't imagine he's not in the top 6 when next season rolls around.

He didn't play like himself against Toronto from a physical standpoint, which was mildly concerning because he did several things he almost never does. He was otherwise solid though.

Fun player, he'll be sticking with the Lightning for sure.

Im gonna bring this topic back up again!!hahah... I really like this guy and think that tampa not only lucked out drafting him, but also hit the jackpot big time signing him to a 3 year deal paying him only 991,667$ a year. in a couple years, it is going to be a BARGAIN paying him less than a million bucks.
