Yep. For the past 5 years or so I would always make a double take when he was still playing.

Good hockey player, but the fact that he played almost 1300 games without any real stand out talent is pretty incredible. Just a solid all around hockey player for almost 20 years.

Definitely. Knew he'd been around for years, but that number really stood out. Just quietly went about his way for nearly two decades, never really standing out, but always doing enough to stick around.
