Solid period. Can't take any more penalties. Keep forechecking, the Canes seem to be prone to turnovers. Throw everything at Anderson.

Why did he skate past the net instead of stopping there? He would have had a tap in.

He giveth and he taketh away.

Even if he just knocked Aho down, it was into the net/towards Sorokin, so how would that have been helpful?

Overall they had a solid period except for the two stupid penalties and Barzal even dumber plays; missing the net completely on a pp shot, and skating PAST the front of the goal instead of stopping there to keep chipping at the puck. Barzal is so afraid of contact you have to wonder if he thinks he's playing pickleball.
