I mean, it's the bloody playoffs. Saying this is as low pressure is gets means nothing because it's all pressure. You put him out there, the Devils slog it up being hurt, get a few breaks, you get goalied, maybe even the rookie makes the costly mistake, and suddenly you're headed back to Jersey for a game 6. That puts you in a dangerous position with regards to possibly finding yourself in a game 7 where "anything can happen" as they say. If Rod thinks this is the best way to wrap up this series win, I can't really blame him for it and mark it as some grand mistake.
