I’d be happy with him finishing out the last 7 regular season games. He is eligible, but Hartford won't make the playoffs.
Likewise. Sign him tomorrow and have him play the final 7 with hartfordI’d be happy with him finishing out the last 7 regular season games.
His draft stock has already been hurt. He went from #1 to potentially 4-6, depending who you ask. I think he still goes in the top 3 but his stock already fell.It won't hurt his draft stock but man Hagens was a rough watch in this one.
Slide eligible to where? He can't get signed and then go back to the NCAA. If he signs it's going to be AHL or NHL.View attachment 1003015
he is 19 so slide eligible right?
His contract will likely start next year, so it won't matter.View attachment 1003015

His contract would have to start this year for him to play with the Rangers. If that happened, then yes, he would burn a year. I forget the exact way it works, but it's fairly common for players to do that.
I came here to say keep him as far away from this team as possible haha. Of course the most recent comment is exactly that lolIf they sign him they should just send him to Hartford.
Keep him away from Peter Loveeveryvet.
Seems like you’re the first and trying to rally everyone against himLooking forward to watching this board turn on him.

Yes. And moreover the rangers are going to have them all playing water polo. Talk about a BAD organization!!Will he be on a line with Carrick and Aube-Kubel next game?
They can sign him and not play him in the NHL this season, which doesn't burn a year. That's what you do today. He can play 7 AHL games to finish the season.Sign the kid even if you burn a year of his ELC. Don’t play with fire
1. I think the Rangers fully prepared to burn the first ELC year through the end of this season. 2. The team has also been underperforming so I’d be more readily willing to agree with you the group was humming on all cylinders fighting for top seed or home ice rather than just the very last spot. The need help generating offense. My guess is if the Rangers sign Perreault he won't play until maybe the final two/three games. That Drury and Laviolette haven't given up on the idea yet that we might sneak into to take the last playoff spot....and until that happens or more likely becomes an impossibility they're going to go with what they have right now and not throw Perreault or anyone else into the fire.
