He should immediately go on the line with Miller and cuylle and push laffy down to the 3rd or 4th line. Laffy scored a goal the other day but he's been awful overall and absolutely horrific defensively. Edge said back prior to draft laffys biggest issue would be keeping his feet moving at this level and you see it all the time. Drop passes in areas he should be entering but that he's not bc he stops skating. Then he's reaching and off balance and turnover after turnover.

Would also like to see Gabe go right on the right halfway on the pp. Team lacks elite passers and that spot has been a black hole for the pp all season, but it's the spot he has played so much. Put an elite offensive talent in a position to succeed right from the start.

Nah, Krieder can sit on the 4th line. I’d like to actually play the kids who will be on the team past this season. Laf also had 7 points in the last 7 games so he is doing something.

LMAO moose anus. Even if you think it’s poor luck it’s objectively true that NYR have gotten less out of these picks than every team in the league the last decade. From Buchnevich to Jones they didn’t have a non 1st round pick play 20 games for the team. No other team was worse in that span. Cuylle is the first regular since Buch.
Minor nitpick: Igor was 2014 4th. I'm sure you meant skaters cause lol goalies.
- Picking completely randomly, I chose the 2016 draft.
- Guys over 100 NHL games: 3rd - 7th rounds:
- 3rd: 5, 4th: 5, 5th: 2, 6th: 3, 7th: 1

16 out of 150 guys made 100 NHL games that year. 10%.
30 out of 150 made 100 NHL games in 2014. 20%.

From 2014 - 2018, non 1sts, the Rangers had 32 selections with 2 getting > 100 games, Igor and Morgan Barron. The Rangers are running a couple of guys under expectation... but a couple of guys in 5 years isn't a lot.

The bottom line is I think we waaay overestimate how fruitful drafting is, memory holing all the Brandon Halversons and Tyler Walls.

at least all the nonsense conspiracy theories about him not signing can stop now.

Hope he gets his minutes but also hope that he doesn’t save Lavi’s job.
RJ Umberger was the only one who snubbed the Rangers decades ago but we've heard this nonsense with pretty much every college bound prospect that this organization drafted or acquired since.

I’m curious if Brody Lamb signs soon as well. The amount of wings this team has, at some point they’re going to have to move a few of them in trades

Just too many for all of them to play
