Proposal: Quinn Hughes to NJ

Honestly, Nemec and a first would most likely get the job done. There would need to be a third team in the mix to take on Hamiltons contract so that may be a bit tricky. I wonder if Florida or another team that is trying to win now would want Hamilton?

I honestly don't see how this improves the Canucks. Say Nemec and Hughes are a wash at best, how would that late 1st make the Canucks better after this lateral move. They need to add to Hughes, Petersson and Demko and remove the deadweight cap somehow. Also with Hughes we already know what we have while with Nemec that would still be a wait and see situation. Nothing is guaranteed until he plays in the NHL.
