Russia seems slow, and the transition game is terrible. We've been relying way too much on our powerplay, they need to work it down low and cycle like they did in the last few min of the second.

I don't know, Russia has much more talented team yet they are playing very even with much worse Denmark. There was some understimation for sure. And honestly, I have never seen a ref helping the weaker team, like ever. If they help it's to either the home team or the stronger team. After all, who the hell would want Denmark in semifinal outside of Denmark/neutral fans? For the tournament it would be better to have semifinal of Russia v USA than Denmark v Czech Republic. It's pretty obvious which one would have more attendance.

I'm not saying they'd help Demark, they shouldn't be intentionally helping anyone, and I don't think they are. But pretty much everyone here besides for Russian fans are cheering for Denmark. Everyone loves an underdog.

as a Finn it seems that Russians don't have any system or motivation to play. and I don't mean any hard feelings against you guys. but still team Russia has almost always been about super stars and none of the team play.

I very doubt the organizers of the tourney want them to win. As I said, Russia v USA would make much more profit than Denmark v USA/Czech Republic.

While I usually do, Denmark has less than zero skill on the team and I only watch this tournament because the games tend to be fun. Denmark-Whoever is a semifinal I would skip.

Seems most people only care about winning a meaningless U20 tournament, though, so it makes sense to cheer for a crappy team to take out a good one.
