Is working hard lucky? then Canada,Sweden,USA,Finland,Russia must be lucky all the time.
 
whew, Denmark gets to the 2nd intermission ahead. This 3rd period is gonna be crazy. Clock is gonna be like Molasses for the Danes.
 
Russia certainly looked better to close out the period and that should give them reason to think they can score an equalizer. I think Denmark needs another goal as I don't believe they will keep Russia scoreless in the third. With that said, with each passing minute, surely the belief amongst the Denmark team must be rising, and it's hard to come from behind against a team that believes.
 
Denmark winning would be quite the surprise.

Would open up that bottom half a bit more as well.

Denmark v Czech in the Semi's anyone?

They made their lucky by working hard. Russians being as usually arrogant and lazy.

I don't know, Russia has much more talented team yet they are playing very even with much worse Denmark. There was some understimation for sure. And honestly, I have never seen a ref helping the weaker team, like ever. If they help it's to either the home team or the stronger team. After all, who the hell would want Denmark in semifinal outside of Denmark/neutral fans? For the tournament it would be better to have semifinal of Russia v USA than Denmark v Czech Republic. It's pretty obvious which one would have more attendance.

The Czechs were twice down against Belarus, and they turned the game only with like 6 or 7 mins. left. So I wouldn't be surprised if Russia tied that game so late too.
 
Whatever, both of those goals were redirects that went to the worst spot possible.
 
Wow these guys... Even if they don't make it through the third, what a ride they've given us. Our "king" resigned to days ago. I suggest Olaf Eller gets the nod when he's home.
 
I'd be shocked if the Danes held on to this lead. It would be the biggest upset of all time in this tournament.

I remember when France beat the Russians at the WC...This would be even crazier.

yeah and I found in all hockey forums all the same ******** about refs and all. Finland Russia in sotchi that was the worse refereeing I have ever seen. Refs are almost always **** so always treat them as such. :sarcasm:
