Russia tends to have US number at WJs. So, based on Pool standings, this is my upset pick for the QFs. But in reality, teams are fairly evenly matched.

Here we are, guys. It's gonna be a tough game. I give no predictions, just enjoy the tonight hockey.

I think USA is going to run into the same issue while playing Russia that they encountered while playing Canada. Outside of Hanifin the defense core is simply too young and inexperienced defensively to contain quality U20 forwards. Russia has a strong forward group, not as deep as Canada but still quite good, so the damage won't be as bad but it will still hurt.

I'll say 4-3 Russia.
