If there were more U-S-A chants, perhaps the momentum will change. But you can't just do it once or twice, you have to do it for at least five minutes straight.

Russian coaches at it again, refusing to use the best possible special teams on the PP and just running the ordinary lines, with guys that do not belong on a PP and killing it as a result for everyone else.

For some reasons, Provorov on the other hand doesn't seem to be considered good enough to manage the blueline on the PP.

Yes, maddening. Bragin's lustre is coming off.

Russia does look more focused and determined to win and you can tell that they have come prepared. USA looks the opposite, they look nervous and on edge and that is why they keep Malung misstakes. Hopefully they talk things through during the break so they can re-focus and we'll see a game.

Lol, our team played like a bunch of disabled people. Yeah, they scored 2, but it said more about US team, than Russia

Gee. I guess he was in the crease after all. The whining about that call can probably stop.

Was Adam Erne not good enough for the team this year? 1.5 PPG in the Q right now, always seems to be dangerous when I see him live.

For whatever reason Erne has never shown up when wearing the red, white, and blue. It wasn't exactly an arbitrary decision to cut him. That said, a lot of these bubble players that were picked (i.e. Wood, De Leo, Louis, etc.) have been terrible and it leaves you wondering if the US thought they were too smart for their own good.

Russia looks like they're on their way to a 40-minute even-strength penalty kill.
