I don't really blame the US player, there was nowhere to go, but rules are rules. That would be called even in NHL.

wouldn't have an issue with officiating if they were calling it both ways. No one can honestly and sincerely say that when the Americans were on those sustained cycles that the Russians weren't committing the same stick infractions that the Americans were penalized for. That's my only issue, call it down the middle.
