Seriously every commercial I've seen from them (a lot) is cringe worthy beyond belief. It's even more embarrassing when you consider their budget and the fact that they basically represent Canada :laugh:
 
Canada needs to take a look at the upsets today and make sure they don't take the Danes lightly. Pretty sure we won't, but anything can happen.

if you want to go that big, at least go for 47-0. That was the score when Canada senior team faced denmark in 1949. was the biggest victory in international hm hockey until the 2000s.

Just remember which team gave the Canadians the most trouble at the Olympics. It wasn't the Swedes, Russians or Americans but an equally unheralded team, like the Danes, that wore maroon and white.

Talent wise it shouldn't be a contest, but if Canada comes out flat and takes lightly a team that has shown it has a system in place that allows them to play with the big boys. If they get it to the shootout, all bets are off...
 
Every canadian who doesn't score a hattrick today is a bust.

That is for sure, the Latvians relied on a great goaltending display. Remember the Latvian goalie was near the point of collapse being so tired. All it takes is a hot goalie and a less than fired up performance from Canada to start the game off and you have a contest.

Im not sold on Fucale ;) I think he's going to let in at least a couple softies.
 
Canada won't score more than 5. Of course, Denmark won't score more than 1 either.

Joking aside, seems like he's been improving the last couple of games so he should have a solid game.
 
So pumped for this game. Treat Denmark like ever other top team and we'll be fine.

We play a pretty fearless system, and try to forecheck hard but we don't have giant defenders.
