Think he was talking about guys that make the NHL as 19 year olds don’t usually get released for the world juniors (Celebrini, Bedard).
But I don’t think that’s a worry with any of the Latvian guys. I hope they win a medal next year.

Because Latvia was very good this year with great goalie. Let’s not pretend this game wouldn’t have gone to overtime if the refs had done their job and not missed the blatant interference by a Swedish player on the first goal.

It might be a worry with Murnieks, although it does confuse me how little attention he's getting. There's literally only a few players who have done something similar at the World Juniors at his age.

My mistake, Swedes are known for their good English (and clutch ability). Should have known!
Clearly Latvian quality of play was much better and efficient. If Latvia managed 3 more shots on goal, you guys would be heading to the airport now.
Sad to see all the salty swedes whine about "luck" and "13 shots" instead of acknowledging one of the best goalies, goal scorers and U18 players of the tournament. I thought we were buddies.
Now I'm glad they did not restore the Stockholm - Riga ferry after COVID. You don't deserve our cheap delicious beer.

Im impressed with Latvia's tournament, especially the goaltending.
I think most Swedes aren’t trying to take anything away from Latvia. It’s mostly misplaced frustration over Hävelids inexplicable confidence in the worst goalie we’ve ever seen Sweden ice at the world juniors.
