Even losing this in regulation, assuming the latvian goalie doesn't allow a goal, I think this is a more impressive performance than the Canada win. As many things as I can and want to rip Sweden for, we are playing way better and creating way better chances than Canada did in that game.

Yeah there is a stark difference between that game and this one.

With the Canada game, the box score said they dominated but having watched it...it never really felt like that, if that makes sense. Especially after a really lackluster first period. Latvia was allowed to hang around.

With this game, Sweden has completely dominated every facet of the play to an almost blinding degree. It's not so much letting Latvia hang around as it is they refuse to go away
